England head into their World Cup qualifying clash against Latvia with renewed optimism as Harry Kane returns to full fitness. The Bayern Munich striker, sidelined during the friendly win over Wales due to an ankle problem, has rejoined training and is expected to feature in the squad traveling to Riga.

Injury Updates
Not all news is positive for England. Ollie Watkins will miss the Riga trip after failing to shake off a knock sustained in the Wales friendly, where he collided with the post and was substituted at halftime for Marcus Rashford. The injury is minor, and Watkins is expected to feature for Aston Villa against Tottenham this weekend.
Additionally, uncapped centre-back Jarell Quansah has withdrawn from the squad due to injury, narrowing Tuchel’s defensive options.

Tuchel is likely to stick to the formula that worked against Wales, with Jordan Pickford in goal, flanked by a defensive line including Konsa, Stones, Guehi, and Spence. Midfield duties are expected to be handled by Anderson and Rice, while the attack will feature Saka, Eze, Rashford, and Kane.
Notably, Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden, Adam Wharton, and Jack Grealish have been left out of the squad, with Tuchel favouring consistency with the team that recently defeated Andorra and Serbia.
